The 3,100-acre easement will link Bonanza Flat and Wasatch Mountain State Park during nonwinter months and take nearly 700 potential buildings off the mountain.

(Rick Egan | The Salt Lake Tribune) Brooke Hontz, the Vice President of Development for Extell Utah, points out the boundaries of the new Mayflower Ski Resort, which is being built on the backside of Deer Valley, on Friday, Dec. 16, 2022.
