(Leah Hogsten | The Salt Lake Tribune) Salt Lake City native Nathaniel Coleman won the USA Climbing: Bouldering Open National Championships for the third consecutive time at the Salt Palace Convention Center, Saturday, February 3, 2018 in Salt Lake City. Coleman, who has qualified for the Olympics, will compete in three 2021 World Cup events — two in bouldering and one in speed — at SLC Industry over the next two weeks.
Julie left the beach of Santa Cruz, Calif., where she worked for 17 years, for the mountains of Salt Lake City in 2019. She has covered the NBA Finals, the Super Bowl, the World Series, the Maverick's big wave surf contest and two Olympics. A Colorado native, she enjoys creating her own adventure, occasionally with her husband and two kids in tow.
