(Leah Hogsten | The Salt Lake Tribune) Rashelle Hobbs appears to be the only candidate in county-level positions up for election this year to unseat her incumbent opponent. She has 15 years of experience working for the Salt Lake County Clerk's Office, starting as a temporary employee and working her way up through numerous positions within the office.
Taylor covers Utah politics and government for The Tribune, where she has worked since January 2017. A Salt Lake native and Westminster College alumna, Taylor first joined The Tribune team as an intern on a single day’s notice.
