‘Trib Talk’: What you should know about visiting national parks during a pandemic

Memorial Day weekend is typically the busiest time for Utah’s national parks. But with coronavirus concerns and two closed parks, the Mighty Five likely saw a dramatic drop in visitors this year.

On this episode of “Trib Talk,” Tribune public lands and environment reporter Brian Maffly and the National Parks Conservation Association’s Cory MacNulty discussed the status of national parks opening back up, what to expect and what you need to know before visiting.

You can watch the interview on Facebook or Youtube. You can also listen to the audio on iTunes, Spotify, Stitcher or Soundcloud. ‘Trib Talk’ is produced by Jeni Fitzgibbon and Sara Weber.
